This course covers different topics from various fields in economics.  It is an applied microeconomics course and is designed to provide an overview of essential tools, concepts, and theories for policy analysis. At the end of this course, students should have improved their capacity to evaluate and criticize the efficiency of firms’ decisions and public policies. The topics covered are: sustainable economic development; economic growth and its relationship with inequalities and urbanization; the economics of education and health; tourism economics; and the economic evaluation of projects and policies.
