A survey of contemporary indigenous Pacific Island literature, through the critical study of three curricular books:
1. Epeli Hau'ofa Tales of the Tikongs (1983)
2. Patricia Grace Potiki (1986)
3. Kristiana Kahakauwila "This is Paradise" in This is Paradise (2013)
4. Craig Santos Perez "Praise Song for Oceania" (2016)
This literary course should raise interactive questionings on contemporary Pacific Islander identity and culture.
